We offer international shipping to many destinations around the world. To check the shipping cost for your order, simply add your items to the cart and use the Shipping Estimator on the Cart page. No login or registration is required.
If no shipping methods appear for your location, it means we do not currently ship to your country, or some items in your cart cannot be shipped there due to carrier or customs restrictions.
Available International Shipping Methods
We currently use the following carriers for international orders:
Australia Post - Standard International
Reliable and cost-effective
Approximately 7-15 business days (varies by destination)
Australia Post - Express International
Prioritised processing
Approximately 3-6 business days between major metro areas
DHL Express
(Available to the USA, Canada, UK and Ireland, and selected other destinations)
Fast, premium courier service
Approximately 3-7 business days
Delivery times are estimates only. Delivery may take longer due to customs processing, carrier delays, public holidays, weather events, or industrial action. Once parcels are handed to the carrier, delivery speed is outside our control.
Items We Cannot Ship Internationally
Some products cannot be shipped overseas due to carrier, customs, or biosecurity rules. This includes:
Large volumes of liquids
Aerosols
Certain restricted veterinary items
Any product prohibited by local customs
Items intended for resale (rules may differ from personal use)
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the items they purchase are allowed into their country and permitted for their intended use. Some countries treat personal use differently from commercial use, so please check your local regulations before ordering.
Shipping to New Zealand
We ship to New Zealand; however, New Zealand’s biosecurity and quarantine rules are strict and can be similar to Australia’s.
Customers must ensure that the products they wish to purchase are permitted for entry into New Zealand. Some pet health, veterinary, or animal-derived products may require special permission or may be prohibited.
Please check with New Zealand Customs or the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) before placing an order for any item that may be restricted.
Information for EU & Ireland Customers
For orders with an item value of €150 or less, all required taxes are collected at checkout. Your parcel should arrive without any additional VAT or customs charges.
For orders over €150, import VAT and/or customs duties may be charged when your parcel arrives in your country. These charges are not included in our checkout price.
If a parcel is returned because taxes or duties were not paid:
We refund the product value only
Shipping costs are non-refundable
Any return shipping or carrier fees will be deducted from the refund
These charges are set by EU import regulations and are not extra fees from Vet-N-Pet DIRECT.
Shipping to the United Kingdom
When shipping to the UK, for orders with a total value (goods only) of £135 or less, we collect UK VAT at checkout - there should be no further tax or duty payable on arrival in Great Britain.
For orders over £135, UK import rules apply and the delivery courier or customs may charge you import VAT and/or customs duty on arrival - these additional charges are not included in our checkout price and are payable by you when receiving the parcel.
These charges are set by UK import regulations and are not extra fees from Vet-N-Pet DIRECT.
Please ensure you’re aware of these possible additional costs before placing your order.
Shipping to the United States
We collect duties and taxes at checkout when applicable. These charges are based on the information available at the time of ordering and are intended to cover the expected import costs for most shipments.
In our recent experience, orders to the United States have generally cleared without additional charges beyond those we have collected at checkout. However, U.S. Customs and Border Protection may assess extra duties, tariffs, or clearance fees in certain situations, such as specific product classifications, higher-value orders, or changes to U.S. import regulations. Carriers may also apply their own processing or handling fees.
Any additional charges applied by U.S. Customs or the carrier are the responsibility of the customer
Shipping to Other Countries
Most countries apply their own import duties, VAT/GST, or handling fees. These charges are set by the destination country and are the customer’s responsibility. They may need to be paid before your parcel is released from customs.
Please check your local customs rules before ordering.
If Delivery Is Refused or Import Charges Are Not Paid
If an order is returned to us because duties or VAT were not paid, the import was refused, or the carrier could not deliver, then:
We will refund the product value only
Shipping costs are non-refundable
Any return shipping or carrier fees charged to us will be deducted from the refund
